Accessing the conference speaker portal
Posters and supplemental materials for oral presentations can be uploaded using the conference speaker portal. You must log in to the portal using the same email that you used to submit your abstract. Otherwise, you will not be able to upload your accompanying poster, flash-talk, or other materials.
If you no longer have access to the account associated with that email, please email the Program Coordinator and Technical Analyst for help recovering your account.
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations will be live, followed by a discussion with other session attendees and speakers.
Presentations should be a maximum of 15 minutes. Select invited speakers have been asked to provide 30-minute presentations. You will also have the option of uploading supporting materials, such as PDFs and slides, to supplement your presentation. The uploading of these materials can be done through the conference speaker portal.
The time and date of the presentation was included in your abstract acceptance email. You can also find this information by searching for your name in the speaker’s section of the conference program.
Live sessions will occur over Zoom. You will be able to access the live session through the conference platform 15 minutes prior to the start of the discussion time. As a presenter, please rename yourself as “Speaker – NAME” during the live discussion.
Poster Presentations
The deadline to upload posters to the conference platform is Oct. 15, 2021 at 11:55 PM ET. Visit the conference speaker portal to upload your poster.
Poster presentations will include a high-quality PDF poster, an optional two-minute pre-recorded video flash talk, and a live discussion with conference attendees through the virtual conference platform.
Posters can be either 4:3 or 16:9.
Posters and the optional pre-recorded flash talk will be accessible to conference attendees in the main conference platform for the duration of the event.
You have the choice to pre-record a 2-minute flash talk to go with your poster. The flash talks can include excerpts of your high-quality poster in the form of a PowerPoint presentation or a high-level walkthrough. You will also have the choice to upload supporting materials, such as PDFs and slides, to supplement your poster.
Presenters will also take part in a two-hour live poster session hosted through the virtual conference platform. The time and date of the poster session is Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 at 5:15 PM ET. You can also find this information by searching for your name in the conference program. During this time, poster authors should be present in virtual conference platform through a live chat service, known as “office hours” to discuss their presentations with other attendees.
We highly encourage all presenters to be available to take part in their live discussion session. If you cannot attend, you will be able to talk to attendees through your poster via the flash-talk. You can also interact with conference attendees using a participant and presenter message board, available for the duration of the event.
