As part of CECC-2021, there will be a special symposium entitled “The Evolving Bioeconomy – from Molecules to the Enterprise”. The bioeconomy is maturing and becoming an increasingly important part of the economy, while its concept evolves at the enterprise level related to for example the circular economy and digitalization, and innovation at the molecular level remains as dynamic as ever with regards to new bioproducts and bioprocesses. The CECC Biorefinery Symposium will capture and concretize some of these issues.
The CECC allows for informal presentations requiring only an abstract submission, and at the same time, papers pertinent to a special issue of the journal IET Renewable Power Generation can be submitted following the conference for those interested.
