The WATOC 2020 logo was designed by Haida artist April White, a relative of the late Bill Reid. April has a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from UBC and is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by her cultural connections with the Haida Gwaii and her years of working in the Canadian wilderness.
