CORGI Organic division

The Organic Chemistry Division of the Chemical Institute of Canada brings together members in the field of Organic Chemistry.

The goals of our Canadian Organic Invitational (CORGI) seminar series are: 

  • Foster community and sharing of expertise among Organic Chemistry Division members
  • Provide a platform for researchers in academia, industry, and non-traditional careers to communicate their work to the broader chemistry community
  • Increase the visibility of students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career faculty, particularly those from traditionally marginalized groups 
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere that will encourage thoughtful discussions on cutting-edge organic chemistry research
