The fifth annual Chemical Engineering Research Day, organized by the chemical engineering departments at McGill University and École Polytechnique de Montréal, was major success. The March 15 event contributed to the training, networking and visibility of graduate students, giving them the opportunity to mingle with colleagues and professionals.
In all, 47 undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students presented their research results in oral and poster presentations. More than 150 people benefitted from the networking opportunity, which also promoted collaboration between the chemical engineering and chemistry departments.
