After an extensive search the CIC has appointed Dr. Josephine Tsang as the new executive director of the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) Avid female scientist. Dedicated champion of social equity, sustainability, collaborative community builder. Passionate innovation leader. With over two decades of experience in industry, academia, private and public sectors, Dr. Josephine Tsang is beyond thrilled to be joining the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) as Executive Director on February 1st, 2022.

Featuring Diversity in Canadian ENTEC – Enhanced rock weathering

The Environment Division (EN) of the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) is collaborating with the Working Towards Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (WIDE) Member Resource Group of the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) to promote work that enhances the diversity of ideas and people in Canadian environmental research. This month they are happy to feature the photo “Enhanced rock weathering” submitted by Professor Rafail M. Santos at the University of Guelph.
