Welcome Message from the Organizing Committee

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join us in Ottawa on Jun. 15 – 19, 2025 for the 108th Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition, CSC 2025! Ottawa is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg, and these lands are home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples.

Our theme, “Chemistry. Unfiltered.” embodies our commitment to delving into a fruitful discussion about the future of our field without any barriers or limitations. Throughout our time together, I hope we will uncover new perspectives, challenge conventional wisdom, and ignite breakthroughs in the realm of chemistry. Given our location in Ottawa, the seat of the Canadian government, we have a unique opportunity to engage with decision makers. Let us leverage this opportunity to advocate for the importance of chemistry in shaping policies and decisions that impact society and the environment.

I encourage you to join us to engage fully in rich discussions, share your insights, and forge new connections with fellow participants. On behalf of the entire organizing committee, I look forward to welcoming you to the conference in June 2025!
