Uttandaraman Sundararaj, FCIC, FCAE, FSPE, FEC, FEIC, 3M Fellow

Uttandaraman Sundararaj is Professor and Schulich Industry Research Chair in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at University of Calgary. He has 4 years industry R&D experience with the General Electric Company and DuPont. He was President of CSChE (2016-17). He received his PhD from University of Minnesota (1994) and his BSc from University of Alberta (1989).
Dr. Sundararaj’s main research interests are in polymer blend and nanocomposite structure generation, plastics recycling/circular economy, and hybrid polymer nanocomposites for electrical and EMI shielding applications. He has published 300+ refereed publications and has given over 50 plenary/keynote presentations at international conferences.
