Award winners to be recognized at the x2026 conference

April 15, 2025, Traditional, unceded Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation / Ottawa, OntarioThe Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) and its constituent societies, Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) and the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE) are delighted to invite nominations for all of our awards. The award winners will be recognized at the awards ceremony during the Canadian Societies for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering 2026 Conferences and Exhibition (x2026). The nomination deadline for all the awards is July 1, 2025 – exceptions noted on our website. The deadline has been changed to July 1, 2025, to allow enough time for award selection and preparations for the x2026 conference. 

The x2026 conference will be a concurrent conference held by the CSC and CSChE from May 24 – 28, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The decision to host the first ever concurrent conference was made by the Boards to enhance the communication and visibility between the two societies.  

The award ceremony at the x2026 conference will recognize the award winners’ achievements and inspire future progress in chemistry, chemical engineering, and chemical technology.
