Read More >>The Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) is offering funding for up to three candidates to attend and present at the 3rd Commonwealth Chemistry Congress, which will take place on May 11-14, 2025 in South Africa. We invite early-career chemists whose research contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals to apply for the chance to represent Canada. Successful candidates will receive full funding to attend the congress and present both a flash presentation and a poster on their research, aligned with one of the congress's three scientific themes.

Read More >>The Chemistry Students’ Association at the University of Alberta hosted the 35th Western Canadian Undergraduate Chemistry Conference (WCUCC 2023), in Edmonton, Alberta, from May 2-5, 2023. Historically, WCUCC has been a smaller-scale conference attended by 30 to 50 participants, but this year was different, with nearly 130 participants from more than 20 institutions across Western Canada. A total of 75 presenters gave 60 poster presentations and over 30 oral presentations.

An invitation from the IIChE was accepted by CSChE’s Board of Directors in early 2022. Ajay K. Dalai (University of Saskatchewan) and Anil K. Mehrotra (University of Calgary) were asked to organize and co-lead a CSChE delegation to an India-Canadian Joint Symposium at CHEMCON-2022.
