Abstract:

This presentation shares the approach to re-implementing the Process Safety Element of Management of Change (MOC) within a midstream operational setting. The effort focused on identifying key gaps, resetting expectations, and rolling out an updated MOC process that better fits the realities of field execution. For this purpose, we applied change management principles to engage frontline personnel, and iterative updates to tools to improve clarity, usability, and alignment with day-to-day work. This example highlights how co-design, practical adaptation, and clear roles can make the Management of Change process more actionable and easier to comply with.
