Welcome Message from the Organizing Committee

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we warmly welcome you to join us at the 75th Canadian Society of Chemical Engineering Conference (CSChE 2025) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We are grateful to acknowledge that this conference will be held on the traditional territory of many nations. The Kanien’kehá:ka nation is recognized as the guardian of the territory known as Tiohtià:ke or Montréal. The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, of which the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation is a part, and the Anishinaabeg peoples have strong historical ties with the region.

We live in a steep slope transient state! The overwhelming scientific and technological changes along with the socio-political turmoil worldwide and the environmental issues is a highly challenging context. Our Canadian Chemical Engineering family is here, well-equipped, continuously improving and ready to contribute to the solutions at short, medium, and long term.

The new paradigms and the fast establishment and adoption of the artificial intelligence are now an integral part of our endeavors in the context of warming climate change and sustainable development. In this conference, our ambition is to bring together people from all chemical engineering generations and disciplines in Canada and internationally; both accomplished researchers and emerging leaders will interact and forge the new reality in our field.

Let’s do a new start while respecting all our successful accomplishments by participating massively and produce an optimistic message to our society.
