The 2017 Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) Fellowship nominations must be submitted by Oct. 3. CIC Fellowships recognize the merits of members of the Constituent Societies of the CIC who have made outstanding contributions in the following areas: scientific, engineering and technical contributions; CIC, CSC, CSChE and CSCT activities; management of science, engineering or technology and teaching and mentoring as well as promotion of chemical public awareness.
The CSC announces the Melanie O’Neill Young Investigator Award in Biological Chemistry. This award is presented to a scientist residing in Canada who has made a distinguished contribution to biological chemistry while working in Canada.
