University of Toronto’s chemical engineering students and professors go beyond textbook learning at the annual CSChE faculty-student mixer.

University of Toronto’s faculty-student mixer took place March 2, 2017. The annual event was hosted by U of T’s CSChE student chapter and provided a friendly and intimate platform for students to interact with faculty members.
“This event allows us to connect with professors in a non-academic setting and get a better idea about how their research and experience is relevant to us” praised one student. In addition the mixer also gives professors a chance to connect with students in a more relaxed setting and explore current industry trends, building relationships and bringing faculty members closer to the interests of students.
