Career Exploration Seminar: Temitayo Urubusi, PFP, Senior Financial Advisor

The Chemical Institute of Canada Toronto Section (CICTor) is hosting the first virtual iteration of our Career Exploration Series on Saturday, November 14th. This series features talks by graduates of the chemical sciences who have transitioned to successful careers in a variety of fields.

Join us for a Career Exploration Talk on the finance industry by Temitayo Urubusi, PFP. Temitayo has a background in the chemical sciences, having completed her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University followed by an Engineering Bridging Program at Ryerson University. She then completed an internship as a Review Engineer Assistant at the Ministry of the Environment before transitioning into the financial sector, where she currently holds the position of Senior Financial Advisor at CIBC. Temitayo has also achieved the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation.

This talk will provide an introduction into the role of a Financial Advisor, and overview of Temitayo’s career path, and how she leveraged her background in the chemical sciences to successfully transition into the financial industry. A Q&A session will follow.
