The Emerging Leaders Plenary session call for submissions is now closed.

Are you an early-career researcher who would give a great TED Talk-style presentation? The CCEC 2020 Organizing Committee encourages you to apply for the Emerging Leaders in Chemical Engineering plenary session at CCEC 2020!  The call for submissions to become an Emerging Leader is now open.

As an Emerging Leader in Chemical Engineering, your talk will be featured alongside our plenary speakers Michel Dumoulin, V.P. Engineering at the National Research Council of Canada and Ajay DalaiFCIC, 2020 Winner of the R.S. Jane Award from the University of Saskatchewan.

This prestigious plenary session showcases the personal perspectives of three to four leading early-career researchers in 10-minute TED Talk-style presentations. Participants are asked to highlight their vision of opportunities and big challenges in their respective fields, discuss strategies for success and offer their views on where research is moving in the next 5 to 10 years. We encourage you to check out the Emerging Leaders in Chemical Engineering from CCEC 2019 held in Halifax, NS and the guidelines for preparing a TED talk-style presentation.

Interested in submitting? The call for submissions to become an emerging leader will be open until July 14, 2020.
