Back by popular demand and updated for 2023: the Bruker Suite is now the complimentary Bruker “Got Science?” Social.

We have reserved Mahoney’s Tavern at 1055 Canada Pl #36 (at the Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building location), exclusively for you on Monday, June 5, from 6 pm-9 pm.

TICKETS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE AT THE BRUKER BOOTH! Stop by Bruker Booth #37/#38 at the Exhibition Hall to receive your ticket on Sunday, June 4, during show hours and Monday, June 5, before 3 pm, while tickets last.

No tickets will be available at the event door. One admission per ticket. We look forward to connecting with you again at our “Got Science?” Social!

The Women in Chemistry and Friends Networking Dinner is organized by the CIC Women in Chemistry and Friends Group. The Group is committed to encouraging the participation of women in science, primarily in Chemistry. As such, we encourage young women chemists to attend our annual event and join our network. Our membership also includes all genders who are highly supportive of Women in Science.

This year’s dinner will be held at 7:30 PM PT at the Butcher and Bullock, which is located at 911 W Pender St Vancouver BC, (approximately 6 min walk from the Convention Center). The menu has much variety and confirmed registrants pay for their own dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant may provide a slightly modified menu based on the number of registrants.

The University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Science is pleased to welcome you to an Alumni Reception, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the CSC.

Join us on June 5 from 6-8pm PST in the Harbour View Room at Steamworks Brewing, 375 Water Street (a short walk from Canada Place). Connect with fellow chemistry alumni, our Dean of Science, our Chair of Chemistry, and some chemistry faculty members over some complementary appetizers and refreshments, including one drink ticket per guest. A cash bar will also be available.

The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology is pleased to host our Alumni Reception in concert with the annual meeting of the CSC in Vancouver, BC.
 
Current CCB members and alumni are invited to join us on Monday, June 5, any time between 5-8pm, at the Brass Fish Tavern (385 Burrard St., 5 minute walk from Canada Place).  A selection of light appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
