For budget purposes, registration fees are in CAD, applicable tax not yet included. Registration fees include food and beverage tickets to the opening reception, poster session reception, and coffee breaks on every full day of the conference (approx. value $60).

Abstract+
Are you interested in increasing your online discoverability in the chemistry community? Would you benefit from having your conference abstract publicly available as a record of participation in CSChE 2023?
Abstract+ is a new initiative created by the CSChE to increase public access to research. By selecting the Abstract+ option in your registration, your accepted abstract text will be included in the conference archive.
Fee: $25 per abstract
*Opting into Abstract+ does not guarantee abstract acceptance to the conference. No refund will be provided if an abstract is not accepted.
Refunds and Cancellations
Written cancellation must be received by the CSChE no later than Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, to qualify for a refund. A $50.00 administration fee will apply. To cancel a registration, contact us at CSChEConference@cheminst.ca.
After Sept. 19, 2023, there will be no refunds or changes to registration, including banquets, receptions and other non-technical program-related activities.
Registration FAQ
We encourage you to take advantage of our early-bird registration fees to register by Sept. 19, 2023, at 11:55 PM MT. By registering in advance of this deadline, you will ensure a smooth transition into the event, receive all relevant information for the event, and save!
CSChE 2023 will not have a hard registration deadline; general attendees will be able to register at any time leading up to and throughout the event at a higher rate after the early-bird deadline, which is Sept. 19, 2023 at 11:55 PM MT.

Abstract+ is a new initiative created by the CSChE to increase public access to research. By selecting the Abstract+ option your accepted abstract text will be accessible and visible in the CSChE 2023 conference archive indefinitely. Past conferences’ scientific programs can be accessed through the Archived Conferences webpage.
You can select to participate in Abstract+ through your registration.
Throughout CSChE 2023, the scientific program will include all abstract text of accepted abstracts regardless of selection of the Abstract+ option.
As a non-profit organization, we take pride in offering our services to the community at the lowest cost possible and our registration rates are no exception. Facilitating an in-person event requires:
- A dedicated staff to organize an engaging and exciting event;
- A convention center space to house the many concurrent sessions in our busy technical program; and
- An event platform that allows for an all-inclusive and value-adding experience, including an intuitive interface for scientific content.
Accompanying guests are spouses or other family members who wish to attend the Opening Reception. Guests who plan to attend the technical sessions must purchase a full or one day registration.
