Under his leadership, Calogy is expanding quickly from a technology start-up to a serious player in the battery thermal management market with test vehicles equipped with its technology currently under road tests. He has successfully raised $1.4M for product development and is currently raising another $2M for product commercialization.
Mahmood Shirazy obtained his PhD from Université de Sherbrooke in thermofluids, heat pipes, and thermal management. His research work has led to multiple research awards including the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) electronic and photonic packaging division (EPPD) student member of the year award for 2013 and the outstanding paper award in the conference InterPACK2013. He has also authored journal articles and several patent applications.
