The Canadian Society for Chemical Technology (CSCT) is a national, not-for-profit, professional association that unites chemical technology students and professionals who work in industry, academia and government.
The CSCT is one of the three Constituent Societies of the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC), along with the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC) and the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering (CSChE). We are governed and funded by our membership.

The CSCT confers the Norman and Marion Bright Memorial Award to recognize individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to chemical technology.

The CSCT is represented on the Technology Accreditation Canada, which accredits technology and technician programs.

The CSCT’s outreach program fosters an interest in chemical technology among young people and raises the public’s understanding of and appreciation for the work of chemical technologists.
