The Chemical Institute of Canada members will vote on new By-laws for the Institute at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) June 3, 2014 in Vancouver. Members are encouraged to read the draft By-laws along with the FAQs to familiarize themselves with the content and then to attend the AGM. The CIC Board will present the draft by-laws to the meeting and field questions from the audience.

In 2007, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the Government of Canada's science and technology strategy, Mobilizing Science and Technology to Canada's Advantage.
Through a consultation process, the government sought the views of stakeholders from all sectors of the Science, Technology and Innovation community to help identify solutions that reflect the realities of today's ever-changing global innovation landscape.
