Meet the Editor, Sharon Oosthoek

For nearly two decades, Sharon Oosthoek has worked as a freelance science journalist at daily newspapers, magazines and online news services in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. Her writing has appeared in New Scientist, Canadian Geographic, Maclean’s, The Globe and Mail, cbc.ca, and Chemical & Engineering News. She is also a contributing writer with Detroit Public Television’s Great Lakes bureau, Great Lakes Now, and with Science News for Students. Sharon has been the CIC NEWS editor since October 2020.
